Description

ESD Cushion Matting – an excellent mat for use on workstation surfaces to provide comfort and cushioning for the operator and electrical components.

This static-dissipative cushion matting is manufactured for use on workbenches in EPA/ESD sensitive areas. The cushioning offers a comfortable working surface for its operator which also helps to reduce mechanical damage to electronic parts (PCBs, etc). This matting should be used in conjunction with a grounded work surface. Cushion matting can be supplied in rolls or pre-cut sizes. Material is 6mm thick and available in light grey.

We recommend using our Staticide Mat and Table Top Cleaner with this product to effectively clean the matting’s surface.

Cleaning and Maintenance

For optimum electrical performance, the surface must be cleaned regularly using an ESD safe mat cleaner. We suggest using Staticide mat and table-top cleaner for best cleaning results. This will maintain the original resistivity of the anti-static mat whilst extending its shelf-life. Dirt can behave as an insulator, it is important to regularly clean the mat before testing / monitoring the resistivity.

Cleaning Directions

1) Apply liberally to the areas to be cleaned. 2) Wait 2-3 minutes to allow emulsifiers to penetrate. 3) Ensure the matting is fully dry before using it. ESD Mat and Table Top Cleaner
