Description

PLATO Cutter 175 (Non-ESD) – an excellent cutter for general assembly.

This economical, lightweight shear PLATO Cutter 175 has insulating handles for general assembly with a wire retainer for added operator safety. These cutters are useful for a variety of applications, as they can be used with materials which are potentially too small to be worked by hand. When using these cutters it is recommended that you use safety glasses and gloves to protect yourself from debris.

Cutting capacity 1.0mm Cu. 170mm long.

Key Features:

These cutters should not be used for assembling or repairing sensitive electronics such as printed circuit boards. This is because they have highly-insulating handles which can generate a harmful static charge that can dissipate and transfer onto the sensitive device, potentially damaging it.
