This miniaturised electronic instrument detects the presence and polarity of static electricity. It provides direct voltage non-contact readings on 2 scales of 4,500 and 30,000 volts at distances of 4” (100mm) and 12” (300mm) respectively. Its rugged solid-state design operates from a 9 volt battery.
